Recruiting Agent (RA) is a proprietor/partnership firm/Company offering to provide employment in any country or place outside India on behalf of the Employer. Those who wish to recruit Indian Citizens for employment in abroad has to register themselves with the registering authority i.e., the Protector General of Emigrants (PGE) with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs under the Emigration Act, 1983. Initially, the Registration Certificate (RC) is valid for a period of five years. The registration can be done by depositing bank guarantee of Rs. 50 Lakhs and registration fee of Rs. 25,000.
